Centrica has acquired Vista Solar, a US-based solar engineering, procurement and construction company.

Centrica has acquired Vista Solar, a US-based solar engineering, procurement and construction company.

Centrica will integrate Vista Solar’s business into its business solutions unit, which offers energy insight, asset optimisation and energy solutions.

The acquisition will enable Centrica to expand the operations of the business unit to California and other western states.

Based in the UK, Centrica is an energy company engaged in the provision of energy-related services and supply of natural gas and electricity.

Advanced Energy Industries has closed the acquisition of LumaSense Technologies Holdings.

The acquisition will add LumaSense Technologies’ photonic-based measurement and monitoring solutions to Advanced Energy’s precision power control technologies, in both semiconductor and industrial markets.

Based in the US, the acquirer company is engaged in developing innovative power and control technologies, while the target company, also based in the US, provides innovative temperature and gas sensing devices.

Ficodis Group has announced plans to acquire Transbearco, as part of its expansion strategy.

The acquisition is expected to support Ficodis Group’s Ontario operations while extending the company’s business in the Montréal and Toronto regions. It is also expected to expand the company’s network of power transmission points of sale.

Ficodis Group provides services, technical skills, and products in the field of industrial supplies, while the target company specialises in the manufacture of power transmission and motion control distributors. Both companies are based in Canada.

The Timken Company has completed the acquisition of Cone Drive.

The acquirer company is engaged in manufacturing engineered bearings and power transmission products, while the target company is engaged in manufacturing precision drives used in diverse markets, including solar, automation, aerial platforms, and food and beverage.

Both the companies involved in the transaction are based in the US.
