Renewable energy company Enel Green Power Hellas plans to invest €300m ($337.32m) to develop the 154MW Kafireas windpower complex located in Greece’s Evia Island.

The Kafireas wind complex is expected to come online in 2019 and holds a 20-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with the Hellenic electricity market operator, LAGIE.

Through its wholly owned UK subsidiary, Atlantis Resources intends to raise minimum gross proceeds of £2m ($2.54m) and a maximum of £5m ($6.37m) in a public offering of 8% unsecured bonds due in 2022.

The company has employed Abundance Investment as the advisor for the offering.

Atlantis Resources specialises in the development of marine renewable energy projects and turbine systems.

The company has engaged TD Securities, TD Securities (USA), BMO Nesbitt Burns, BMO Capital Markets, JP Morgan Securities Canada, and JP Morgan Securities as agents for the transaction.

The net proceeds from the offering will be used to clear the debts and/or to finance its long-term investment programme.
