NextEra Energy has agreed to offer 30 million equity units priced at $50 each to a group of underwriters, including Goldman, Sachs & Co, Credit Suisse Securities (USA), and Mizuho Securities USA.
The transaction is expected to close on 8 August 2016, and the net proceeds are intended to fund a proposed acquisition of Energy Future Holdings, to fund investments in energy and power projects, and other general corporate purposes.
Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, and Squire Patton Boggs (US) are acting as legal advisors to NextEra Energy for the offering.
NHPC has announced a private placement of shares to raise approximately Rs30bn ($448.8m).
The offering is being made to fund the construction and development of the Lower Subansiri hydroelectric project in Gerukamukh, India.
Sungrow Power Supply has completed the stock offering of 1.2 billion shares priced at $3.33 each.
It has generated $400m from the public offering, which will be used to leverage its solar business, increase investment in research and development (R&D), and promote its photovoltaic (PV) inverter and energy storage product lineups.
