DONG Energy Power has commissioned ABPmer to provide coastal process environmental impact assessment for the Burbo Bank and Walney offshore wind farm extensions in the UK.
ABPmer will conduct investigations by using an evidence-based approach adhering to COWRIE guidance.

ABPmer managing director Bill Cooper said the approach was used earlier in Gunfleet Sands phase 2 and demonstration projects.
The company has developed a database that provides technical information collated from site investigations, monitoring and technical studies from around 30 offshore wind farm projects across the UK and overseas.
