UK-based EA Technology has registered record sales for the year ending March, reaching £26m.
During the period, the firm reported an increase in orders by more than 50% across almost all of its global markets.
In collaboration with the UK’s Western Power Distribution, EA Technology is delivering the Electric Nation and Open LV projects.
Electric Nation is one of the world’s largest electric vehicle trials, which is currently testing a solution to address rising numbers of electric vehicles charging at peak times on local electricity networks.
As part of the Open LV project, EA Technology is developing a solution to help provide open data from low-voltage substations. This can be used by organisations and local communities to help reduce electricity bills and introduce decentralised, lower carbon energy.
EA Technology's chief executive officer (CEO) Robert Davis said: “These projects are really exciting, not least because they offer the opportunity to push the boundaries with two of the leading network companies in the world.
“But we are also gaining competitive advantage with our core services and products, such as partial discharge solutions, which are now being taken up by more and more industrial operators seeking peace of mind with their high-voltage systems.”
EA Technology's customers include companies involved in electricity generation, distribution, and transmission, as well as private companies that operate power networks.
