Global clean power developer and operator ET Energy has completed the development of six solar projects with a total installed capacity of 26MWp in the UK.

Built on a turnkey basis, the company developed the solarpower facilities on behalf of funds managed by Octopus Energy Investments, whose head Matt Setchell said: “Our solar experience, together with ET Energy's development and construction capabilities, proved a successful combination.

“We're pleased to add these projects to our continually growing clean energy activities."

Last year, ET Energy acquired development rights to these six projects and divested them to funds managed by Octopus Energy Investments at the end of the same year. The company also provided a turnkey engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract for the solar projects.

"Our solar experience, together with ET Energy's development and construction capabilities, proved a successful combination."

The six solar power plants, all ground-mounted photovoltaic (PV) sites, are located in different locations across England, Wales, and Scotland.

ET Energy's president and chief executive officer (CEO) Dennis She said: “With these six UK solar projects, we have demonstrated again that we are capable of delivering high-quality, investment grade solar project assets.
