Hometown Connections has entered a partnership with Clevest to deliver mobile workforce automation and smart-grid operation solutions to public power electric, gas and water utilities.

Clevest provides a product suite that includes automatic vehicle location, meter reading, mobile workforce management, asset investment planning, and patent-pending configuration technology.

Hometown Connections is a services division of American Public Power Association (APPA). Through the company, APPA staff receive access to discount pricing on systems and services from industry vendors.

Clevest offers a national mutual-aid programme to public power industry.
