Industrial equipment supplier ICS Cool Energy has been added to the Carbon Trust’s Green Business Directory as an accredited supplier.
The accredited supplier scheme recognises energy efficient equipment and renewable technology suppliers. Thise aiming to attain Carbon Trust accreditation need to meet specific criteria set out by the trust to prove that suppliers are capable of providing appropriate energy efficient solutions consistently.
The recognition achieved by ICS Cool Energy will also prove to be beneficial for its customers, who will be able to apply for the Carbon Trust’s Green Business Fund Capital Contribution Scheme. This is a green energy grant that has been designed to support small and medium-sized companies in England, Scotland, and Wales to recognise energy saving opportunities and install energy efficient equipment.
On a first come, first served basis, customers with compliant projects will be able to receive a 30% financial contribution of up to £10,000 towards selected energy saving equipment, which currently includes all ranges from ICS Cool Energy. Trade customers can also pass on these savings to their own customers through the Green Business Fund.
In addition, end-users will have access to energy saving opportunity assessments, funded equipment procurement support, and training workshops to help identify energy saving opportunities.
ICS Cool Energy's sales director Richard Metcalfe said: “Delivering energy efficiency through our product portfolio has always been a key priority for us and we are proud to be a Carbon Trust accredited supplier.
“Finding a suitable and energy efficient temperature control solution can be a complex task so the scheme is of great benefit for end-users who are given clear guidance as to trusted suppliers they can approach and can access the latest energy efficient opportunities and equipment.”
