Inox Wind has secured a turbine supply contract from Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL) for the 100MW wind power project in Gujarat, India.
The project forms a part of the expansion of a 400MW wind complex in Rojmal, 140MW of which is already operational.
TPREL CEO Rahul Shah said: "The 100MW expansion of the Rojmal project is TPREL’s fourth project with Inox Wind.
"We look forward to building a long and fruitful relationship with Inox on the strong foundation of the previous successful projects in Gujarat and Rajasthan."
The order will increase TPREL’s orders placed with Inox Wind to more than 300MW.
The contract requires Inox Wind to supply and install 50 units of its 2MW DFIG 100 rotor dia Wind Turbine Generator for the project.

By GlobalDataInox Wind will be responsible for providing long-term operations and maintenance services for the project.
The company will also provide services ranging from development and construction to commissioning of the plant.
