BayWa r.e. renewable energy has announced that it will acquire OneShore Energy to strengthen its position in off-grid power generation markets.

BayWa r.e. renewable energy has announced that it will acquire OneShore Energy to strengthen its position in off-grid power generation markets.

OneShore Energy specialises in the planning and operation of solar-diesel hybrid plants, while BayWa r.e renewable energy intends to extend its scope of services to regions with poor or no connection to the grid.

Trimble has announced the acquisition of Network Mapping Group (NM Group).

Trimble provides software solutions for electric and natural gas utilities, while NM group offers data capture, modelling, engineering, and analytical services, as well as 3D visualisation solutions for electricity network operators.

"Spirax-Sarco Engineering has announced its intention to acquire Chromalox from private equity firm Irving Place Capital."

Spirax-Sarco Engineering has announced its intention to acquire Chromalox from private equity firm Irving Place Capital for $415m in an all-cash deal.

Spirax-Sarco is engaged in the control and efficient use of steam and other industrial fluids, while Chromalox manufactures and supplies temperature management and process heating solutions.

The company has engaged UBS Investment Bank and Greenhill and company as the financial advisors, while Chromalox engaged Weil Gotshal & Manges as legal advisors for the transaction.
