Kontrol Energy has completed the acquisition of Efficiency Engineering for C$2.23m ($1.76m).

Of the transaction, a total of C$0.63m ($0.5m) is paid in cash and the remaining by issuing 1,210,816 million common shares at a price of C$0.7433 ($0.60) each.

Both companies are suppliers of energy-efficiency solutions and services.

The acquisition is expected to help Kontrol Energy to provide turnkey energy-efficiency solutions to its customers while minimising greenhouse gas emissions.

Energy services provider GATE has announced the completion of the acquisition of PDI Solutions.

The acquirer expects to increase its client base, expand into new sectors and grow its business through the energy value chain.

PDI Solutions is engaged in providing operation, maintenance and inspection services to upstream and midstream companies.

Power generation and distribution company Saeta Yield has agreed to purchase Lestenergia-Exploração de Parques Eólicos from ProCME – Gestao Global de Projectos for €104m ($123.3m).

The acquisition falls under the right of first offer (RoFO) agreement made between Saeta Yield and Grupo ACS, the parent company of ProCME – Gestao Global de Projectos.

The target company operates nine Portugal-based wind farms, which have a combined capacity of 144MW.

On 27 July, Saeta Yield reached an agreement with a syndicate of six Spanish and international financial institutions for a €120m ($142.28m) revolving credit facility for funding the acquisition.

The acquirer expects to advance its international growth strategy and increase shareholder value through the deal.
