Nebraska Public Power District will purchase the facility’s electric output under a 20-year power purchase agreement.

The facility will be powered by 50 wind turbines mounted on 80m high towers, each capable of producing 1.6MW of power at peak output.

Construction of the project is scheduled to be complete by November 2012.
