Photon Energy, in partnership with RenCraft, has won a tender to carry out the installation of a 311kW rooftop photovoltaic (PV) plant in Ruda Slaska, Southern Poland.
The installation will be placed on the roof of the Upper Silesian water utility company Górnoslaskie Przedsiebiorstwo Wodociagów, which will also be an investor in the project.

The facility will be the largest solar power installation on a roof in Poland once complete in 2012.
Photon Energy subsidiary Photon Engineering will provide engineering works, technology procurement and construction services.
