US-based Coldwell Solar has selected Northern States Metals unit Solar FlexRack to install 14MW of thermal design power (TDP) Turnkey Solar Trackers on 12 agricultural projects in California, US.
Solar FlexRack’s TDP Turnkey Tracker is designed to aid various agricultural operations by distributing solar energy generation. This helps reduce electricity costs, stabilise rates, and support energy independence.
The tracker features a complete set of project services and support to help avoid delays in project installations.
Italso ensures systems are built for long-term performance and reliability, while offering savings on solar project budgets.
Coldwell Solar's chief executive officer (CEO) David Hood said: “Coldwell Solar performs a thorough inspection of a property to determine the most appropriate, site-specific, solar solution that maximises cost savings.
“Solar FlexRack’s TDP Turnkey Solar Trackers were the optimal solution for these agricultural installations ensuring successful projects.”
Coldwell Solar is currently involved in helping agricultural operations reduce utility bills and take advantage of the cost benefits available in California.
The Solar FlexRack pre-assembled racking system is capable of facilitating quick and easy installation of solar projects. It also helps in reducing labour time and overall project costs.
