Toshiba is participating in a seven-company consortium that plans to construct and operate a solar photovoltaic plant in Japan.
The consortium headed by Mitsui Chemicals will conduct a feasibility study for a combined solar and wind power plant in Tahara, Japan, aiming to begin construction in 2012.
