Spanish renewables investor Qualitas Energy has introduced Navaris, a new entity established to manage the group’s renewable energy business in Germany.
Navaris consolidates the renewable energy assets, project development pipeline, workforce and operational expertise established in Germany via Qualitas Energy Fund IV, introduced in 2020, and Fund V, initiated in 2022.

The move comes as the business reaches a new stage of growth in the German market, having first entered the country in 2018, said the company.
Navaris will oversee a portfolio of 1.3GW of operational and under-construction renewable energy assets, alongside more than 3GW of projects in advanced development.
The company’s approximately 200 employees are spread across six German cities: Berlin, Cologne, Hamburg, Stuttgart, Trier and Wiesbaden.
According to Qualitas Energy, Navaris will continue to focus on acquiring, developing, constructing and operating renewable energy assets, with a particular emphasis on onshore wind development and repowering.
The company secured more than 500MW in Germany’s 2026 onshore wind tenders and expects to increase this to around 700MW by year-end. It also plans to secure an additional 1GW in 2027.
The company’s operations span the entire renewable energy value chain including project origination, acquisition, development, financing, construction, commissioning, asset management and energy management.
Navaris’ regional presence aims to maintain engagement with local stakeholders and respond to local market needs.
Navaris CEO Johannes Overbeck said: “Navaris marks the next stage in the evolution of our German business, giving a strong and distinctive identity to the scale, capabilities and local expertise we have built.
“We have an established company, a mature portfolio and the resources required to execute our business plan with confidence.
“Navaris reflects our ambition to accelerate renewable energy deployment, our commitment to advancing Germany’s energy transition and our determination to create enduring value for our partners and stakeholders.”
Qualitas Energy stated that Navaris is fully capitalised to deliver its business plan and that the launch demonstrates the group’s long-term commitment to the German renewable energy sector.
Separately, Qualitas Energy plans to continue direct investment in the German market through Qualitas Energy Fund VI.
In July 2026, Qualitas Energy received around $196.7m (€172m) in non-recourse financing to fund a 156MW-peak greenfield solar photovoltaic portfolio in Italy.
