The new projects could supply a third of NSW homes and help achieve 90% of the state's 2030 renewables target.
Once completed, the facility is expected to meet the electricity requirements of more than 150,000 households during peak demand.
The projects comprise 720MWp of solar power and 600MW/2.4GWh of battery storage, making them Australia’s largest solar‑plus‑storage hybrid initiatives under construction.
The partnerships aim to standardise design, manufacturing, supply chain and construction for future Natrium units, supporting fleet-scale rollout and lower project risk.
The company says the programme will support major industrial activity across Norway and keep its power plants generating into the next century.
