Clean Max Enviro Energy Solutions has commissioned a 185MW wind-solar hybrid renewable energy project in Kalavad, Gujarat, India.

The project, developed over approximately 12 months, will supply renewable energy to 17 corporate clients.

The Kalavad facility will contribute Rs1.65bn ($17.75m) annually to CleanMax's revenue in fiscal year 2027 (FY2027), once the project is stabilised.

The addition of Kalavad enhances CleanMax's hybrid infrastructure in Gujarat, boosting its ability to meet industrial energy demands around the clock.

It increases the company's total operational capacity in the state to approximately 844MW as of 31 March 2026.

CleanMax CFO Nikunj Ghodawat said: “The Kalavad expansion, once stabilised, enhances our revenue base, with a contribution upwards of Rs1.65bn annually in FY2027.

“Backed by 25-year fixed-tariff PPAs [power purchase agreements] with customers, this provides clear visibility and stability of cash flows over its life cycle.”

The project supports India’s decarbonisation goals and is expected to offset around 361,000t of CO₂ emissions each year.

Corporate participants in the project include companies such as Apar Industries and Borosil Renewables.

In FY2024–25, CleanMax reported revenue of Rs3.4bn from Gujarat, comprising around 30% of its total renewable power sales, highlighting the strategic significance of the region.

CleanMax managing director Kuldeep Jain said: “Gujarat leads India’s industrial decarbonisation push. This is where clean energy policies, demand and economics line up.

“We have had skin in the game here for years, building and operating assets across the state. Kalavad builds on that experience, bringing multiple customers onto a single hybrid platform to deliver reliable clean power for businesses that run round the clock.”

Recent regulations issued by the Gujarat Electricity Regulatory Commission have expanded access and clarified banking rules, enhancing the use of renewable energy by commercial and industrial consumers, the company said.

As of 31 March 2026, CleanMax’s energy sales capacity stands at 3.1GW, spanning multiple states and serving a diverse customer base.
