Detroit Stoker Company’s Overfire Air (OFA) and Secondary Air Control Systems are designed to enhance combustion and reduce emissions. Originally developed to control particulates, OFA systems now minimize carbon monoxide and NOx while improving combustion efficiency. Customizable to specific fuels and boiler conditions, Detroit® OFA systems use fully ported stainless-steel nozzles with adjustable airflow. They provide effective mixing of volatiles and air high in the furnace, making them a valuable addition to Detroit® stokers and a vital tool for emission compliance.
