Description

The project is developed and owned by FCC Buckinghamshire.

The project supplies enough clean energy to power 36,000 households.

The process of combustion has been adopted in this project to release the stored energy from the feed. Household waste which is a kind of municipal solid waste is used as a feedstock to power the project.

Hitachi Zosen Inova was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the biopower project.

Hitachi Zosen Inova supplied steam boiler for the project. The boiler installed at the site has a capacity of 127TPH. The temperature witnessed inside the boiler is around 402°C. The steam is pressurized inside the boiler at 52bar.
