Infrastructure fund Greencoat UK Wind is set to buy the 240MW South Kyle wind farm from Swedish developer Vattenfall despite the Covid-19 coronavirus outbreak.
The farm, situated in Scotland, is scheduled to become operational in 2023, as reported by Reuters.

The project’s construction plans will depend on the UK Government’s directives to fight the pandemic. Vattenfall said: “In line with the UK Government guidance to ensure the safety of employees amid the COVID-19 pandemic, construction of the wind farm will begin once it is appropriate to do so.”
