Renewable electricity provider Voltalia has increased its revenues by 47% in the first quarter of 2020, consolidating its mid-term goals, despite the coronavirus outbreak.

The French company has in fact produced 1GW of energy and reached an EBITDA between €160m and €180m.

Voltalia CEO Sébastien Clerc said: “The increase in Voltalia’s revenues in Q1 2020 reflects the growth of our portfolio of plants, notably outside Brazil. The unwavering commitment of the Voltalia teams ensures, in more difficult conditions, business continuity in order to produce all the electricity possible, to best serve clients and to win new promising contracts.”
