GENERATOR CLEANING

Global Power Generation Services has wide-ranging experience cleaning generators including in-situ field bodies and stator end-turns. Technicians employ specialized tools and equipment to thoroughly clean end-turns and deep inside the slot and sub-slot cooling passages when necessary.

We recommend that generator fields and stators are cleaned prior to any inspection, testing and during major maintenance. Contaminates often obstruct cooling passages, foul insulation and retain moisture. Our generator cleaning and decontamination is performed with a residual-free process that assures nothing is left behind.
