The CoroCAM 6D is a redeveloped version of the CoroCAM solar blind UVc imaging system with an emphasis on the reduction of cost through innovative design.
CoroCAM 6D’s has improved sensitivity using its newly designed solar blind filter packs and its unique low noise, high sensitivity detector.
The product features modernised electronics to reduce weight, system noise and its size, while the camera can be fitted with an optional motorised module, which allows the use of solar blind (SB) or non-solar blind (NSB) modes.
The camera’s NSB mode removes the SB filter from its light path, enabling more UV light to reach the detector and, therefore, boosting the camera’s sensitivity. The CoroCAM 6D can be used at night or indoors when NSB mode is enabled.
