Looking at global power tenders activity divided by the type of technology, solar held the top position in terms of number of tenders during Q4 2020 with a 44.2% share.

The proportion of tenders by category in the Solar technology tracked by GlobalData in the quarter was as follows:

  1. Project Implementation: 307 tenders and a 74.2% share
  2. Supply & Erection: 45 tenders and a 10.9% share
  3. Consulting & Similar Services: 32 tenders and a 7.7% share

Comparing tenders activity in solar technology in different regions of the globe, Asia-Pacific held the top position with 205 tenders and a share of 49.5% during Q4 2020, followed by Middle East and Africa with 89 tenders and a 21.5% share and Europe with 61 tenders and a 14.7% share.
