Power Plant stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the Europe region in Q3 2021 with 135 tenders and a 34.8% share, followed by T&D Project with 101 tenders and a 26% share and T&D Equipment with 64 tenders and a 16.5% share during the quarter.

The proportion of tenders by category tracked by GlobalData in the quarter was as follows:

  1. Project Implementation: 123 tenders and a 91.1% share
  2. Consulting & Similar Services: six tenders and a 4.4% share
  3. Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: five tenders and a 3.7% share
  4. Others: one tender and a 0.7% share.

The top issuers of power plant tenders for the quarter in terms of power capacity involved in Europe were:

  1. Ministere de l’Environnement, de l’Energie et de la Mer (France): 27,050MW from 58 tenders
  2. Russian Association of Wind Power Industry (Russia): 6,700MW from one tender
  3. Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, Turkey (Turkey): 1,000MW capacity from one tender.
