US-based company Element Labs IT hiring rose 6.2% in July 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 1.14% in July 2022 when compared with June 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 27.15% share in the company’s total hiring activity in July 2022, and recorded a 1.22% decline over the last three-month average share.

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Element Labs, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 72.73% in July 2022, and a 45.45% rise over June 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 18.18% in July 2022, and registered growth of 300%. Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 9.09% in July 2022, a 100% rise from June 2022.

Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global power IT hiring activity in July 2022 with a 59.09% share, which marked a 160% rise over the previous month.

Europe stood next with 22.73%, registering a 66.67% month-on-month growth. North America was the third leading region with an 18.18% share and a 42.86% drop over June 2022.

Taiwan (Province of China) commanded a leading presence in the region’s power industry IT hiring activity with a 59.09% share in July 2022, a 225% growth over June 2022. Belgium featured next with a 22.73% share, up 150% over the previous month. US recorded an 18.18% share, a decline of 42.86% compared with June 2022.

Junior Level jobs held a share of 95.45%, up by 61.54% from June 2022. Entry Level positions with a 4.55% share, a flat growth compared with the previous month.
