REpower Systems has finalised a contract with EverPower to supply 68 wind turbines for the Twin Ridges wind project in the US state of Pennsylvania.

The wind farm, located in Somerset County, will use REpower’s Version MM92 turbines with have a rated power of 2.05MW and a hub height of 80m.

Commissioning of the Twin Ridges project is scheduled for the third and fourth quarters of 2012, and will generate a total power output of 140MW.

Twin Ridges is the second project to be carried out between EverPower and the German-based wind turbine manufacturer.
