Schneider Electric chairman and CEO Jean-Pascal Tricoire said: “We all have a responsibility to make energy access an inalienable human right and reduce the energy divide that continues to undermine quality of life for a massive part of the population.

“As a responsible company, Schneider Electric has a duty to help reach this goal, which will require a collective effort, given its critical importance and the complex challenges involved.”

Schneider Electric will focus on programmes, which comprise ‘Building Efficiency Accelerator’, ‘Industrial Energy Efficiency Accelerator’, ‘People-Centred Accelerator’, and the upcoming ‘Electrification Accelerator’.

The company has also allocated employees to each programme, backed by SEforALL resources such as its heat maps tool for energy efficiency and renewables.
