Vogt Power International, located in Louisville, KY, a subsidiary of Babcock Power, announced that the consortium formed by Skanska Brasil LTDA and Construcoes e Comercio Camargo Correa, has awarded it the Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG) for the Cubatao Thermal Power Plant Project in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Vogt Power will design, engineer, manufacture and deliver a three pressure level non-reheat, natural circulation HRSG with an independent condensate pre-heater, to be installed behind a GE-7FA gas turbine. The combined cycle system will supply process steam for the Cubatão refinery and electricity to the local power grid. The contract is valued in excess of USD nine million.
