VJIKKS ENGG POWER has won a tender from Synthomer, a leading polymer producer, to assist in the upgrade of their plant.
Synthomer develops and markets polymers used in a wide range of industries to create and enhance everyday consumer products.
Synthomer is continuously upgrading their plant to improve operations. In one of their synthetic latex producing plants, several new state of the art MCCs and VSD panels have to be installed and coupled with the existing system.
Installation has to be done in a running plant, under the highest safety level, and coupling has to be done within a very short duration of shutdown by carefully planning the activities.
VJIKKS ENGG POWER, with their team of experienced personnel in process plant upgrades, participated in the tender floated by Synthomer in one of their plants in Pasir Gudang, Malaysia.
Having combined expertise in the erection, commissioning and operation and maintenance of power and other process plants, the proposal submitted by VJIKKS ENGG POWER was a complete proposal with a clear plan and schedule. It also included all safety documents, such as a job safety analysis (JSA) for the entire scope of work.
