Sulzer Pumps Opens a New Service Centre in Brazil

Sulzer Pumps has opened a new service centre in Nova Lima, Brazil, for configured pumps, mixers, agitators and aeration systems.

With this new service facility, Sulzer Pumps is well positioned to serve customers in the growing markets of wastewater, mining, general industry and agro-industry of south-eastern, northern and central western Brazil.

Located in the region of Minas Gerais where mining is prevalent, the service centre will enable the further expansion of Sulzer Pumps’ offering of dewatering pumps and other wastewater solutions.

Operating in close collaboration with Sulzer Pumps’ Curitiba manufacturing facility in southern Brazil, the facility provides repairs, refurbishments and spare parts for submersible and process pumps and other rotating equipment, both for the Sulzer Pumps’ range as well as other original equipment manufacturers (OEM) products.

Other scope of services include field services, long term maintenance contracts, modernization projects and upgrades to provide customers with a fast and efficient support. The facility will also offer rental dewatering pumps and related accessories for short-term use.

Through services performed at the new service centre in Brazil, customers will benefit from energy efficiency, increased reliability, cost savings and extended maintenance cycles.

Sulzer Pumps has been present in Brazil since 1948 and currently has two manufacturing facilities and four service centres in Brazil.
