Wärtsilä was chosen in May to supply five gas power plants, with a total output of 450 MW, to Azerbaijan. The construction of the first 80 MW power plant has now been started. The value of the delivery for Wärtsilä for this plant is approximately EUR 30 million. Negotiations on financing of the remainder of the order are in progress.
