RDE has been awarded a contract to supply an engineering and training simulator to support the working processes during the construction, commissioning and operation phases for the 4,800MW Medupi dry-cooled, coal-fired power station under construction in Lephalale, South Africa.
The plant is being developed by Eskom, South Africa’s state-owned power corporation. RDE’s engineering simulator serves as an efficient tool to improve process optimisation and quality management as well as to allow for early full-scope operator training.
