The wedge wire filter is solidly built and may be used for toughest applications.
The filter consists of the following parts:
- Filter housing (single piece)
- Cleaner scrapper blade unit with wiper
- Gear motor with lid
- Three-legged foot stand (has to be fixed to floor)
The liquid flows from the outside of the filter element and the solids are collected on the outside of the wedge wire screen.
The gear motor turns the cylinder shaped filter cartridge and the scrapper blade removes the solids from the surface. The solids remain in the lower parts of the filtering housing. When the valve is open the solids will be pressed outside by the pressure in the system.
