Germany-based company E.ON’s IT hiring declined 0.8% in August 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 5.1% in August 2022 when compared with July 2022.
IT jobs claimed a 7.26% share in the company’s total hiring activity in August 2022, and recorded a 0.27% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops E.ON IT hiring in August 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by E.ON, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 44.12% in August 2022, and a 28.57% drop over July 2022, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 35.29% in August 2022, and registered growth of 71.43%. Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 14.71% in August 2022, a 150% rise from July 2022.
Europe drives IT hiring at E.ON
Europe emerged as the leading region in the global power IT hiring activity in August 2022 with a 97.06% share, which marked a 3.13% rise over the previous month.
Asia-Pacific stood next with 2.94%, registering a flat month-on-month growth.
Germany commanded a leading presence in the region’s power industry IT hiring activity with an 85.29% share in August 2022, a 38.1% growth over July 2022. Romania featured next with a 5.88% share, down 60% over the previous month.
Junior Level jobs lead E.ON IT hiring activity in August 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 58.82%, down by 31.03% from July 2022. Mid Level positions with a 26.47% share, a growth of 200% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 14.71% share, up 66.67% over July 2022.
