France’s power industry registered a 14.0% rise in IT hiring activity in February 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring increased by 10.98% in February 2022 when compared with January 2022.
Out of the power industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 5.87% share in February 2022, recording an increase of 0.26% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in France’s power industry’s IT recruitment activity in February 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 98% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of France’s power industry in February 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 62% in February 2022, registering a 19.23% growth over the previous month.
2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 16% share, an increase of 166.67% over the previous month.
3) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 8%, registering a 20% decline from January 2022.
4) Computer Support Specialists captured a share of 8%, up 300% over the previous month.
Top five power companies in France’s IT recruitment activity in February 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 50% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of France’s power industry during February 2022 over January 2022.
Electricite de France posted 30 IT jobs in February 2022 and registered a rise of 172.73% over the previous month, followed by Schneider Electric with 9 jobs and a 25% drop. Silicon Mobility with 4 IT jobs and Alencon Systems with 1 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a flat growth, respectively, while Siemens recorded a decline of 85.71% with 1 job postings during February 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in February 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 66%, up by 22.22% from January 2022. Entry Level positions with an 18% share, registered an increase of 200% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with 14% share, up 40% over January 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 2%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
