T&D Equipment stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the Asia-Pacific region in Q2 2021 with 167 tenders and a 32.6% share, followed by Power Plant with 126 tenders and a 24.6% share and T&D Project with 91 tenders and a 17.7% share during the quarter.

The proportion of tenders by category tracked by GlobalData in the quarter was as follows:

  1. Project Implementation: 77 tenders and an 84.6% share
  2. Consulting & Similar Services: eight tenders and an 8.8% share
  3. Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: six tenders and a 6.6% share.

Looking at T&D project tenders by the type of technology in the Asia-Pacific region, solar accounted for two tenders with a 50% share, followed by thermal with one tender and a 25% share and hydro with one tender and a 25% share.
