The project is being developed by Green Gold Energy. Astronergy Solar Australia, Edel New Energy Australia and Golden Invest are currently owning the project.
Australia Plains Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is planned over 429 hectares.
The project is expected to generate 379,764MWh electricity and supply enough clean energy to power 69,363 households. The project is expected to offset 250,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is expected to be around $293.41m.
