The project is developed and owned by Soske elektrarne Nova Gorica.
Avce is a pumped storage project. The hydro reservoir capacity is 2.17 million cubic meter. The gross head and net head of the project are 521m and 498m respectively. The penstock length is 862m. The penstock diameter is 3.3m. The project generated 426 GWh of electricity. The project cost is $164.5m.
