The project is being developed and currently owned by RES Australia.
Currawarra Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is planned over 750 hectares.
The project is expected to generate 466,339MWh electricity and supply enough clean energy to power 79,000 households. The project is expected to offset 155,627t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is expected to be around $220.085m.
The solar power project consists of 670,000 modules.
