Erebus Demonstration Project is a 96MW offshore wind power project. It is planned in Celtic Sea, Wales, the UK. The project is currently in announced stage. It will be developed in single phase. Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in 2026.

Description

The project is being developed by Blue Gem Wind. Total New Energies and Simply Blue Energy are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 80% and 20% respectively.

The project is expected to supply enough clean energy to power 89,488 households, to offset 145,696t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is expected to be around $478.224m. The project will be spread over an area of 43.5km². The turbines will be mounted on floating semi-submersible foundations and will be interconnected by 66kV inter-array cable.

The wind power project consists of 7 turbines.
