T&D Project stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the Europe region in Q4 2021 with 85 tenders and a 28.7% share, followed by Power Plant with 67 tenders and a 22.6% share and T&D Equipment with 48 tenders and a 16.2% share during the quarter.
The proportion of tenders by category tracked by GlobalData in the quarter was as follows:
- Project Implementation: 59 tenders and an 88.1% share
- Consulting & Similar Services: four tenders and a 6% share
- Others: four tenders and a 6% share.
Solar is top technology for Europe power plant tenders in Q4 2021
Looking at power plant tenders by the type of technology in the Europe region, solar accounted for 47 tenders with a 70.1% share, followed by wind with eight tenders and an 11.9% share and thermal with four tenders and a 6% share.

Europe power plant tenders in Q4 2021: Top companies by capacity
The top issuers of power plant tenders for the quarter in terms of power capacity involved in Europe were:
- Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate, Netherland: 6,000MW from one tender
- Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs (Netherlands): 1,400MW from one tender
- CRODUX Energetika: 500MW capacity from one tender.
