Power Plant stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the Europe region in Q4 2019 with 132 contracts and a 34.3% share, followed by Generation Equipment with 97 contracts and a 25.2% share and T&D Equipment with 53 contracts and a 13.8% share during the quarter.

The proportion of contracts by category tracked by GlobalData in the quarter was as follows:

  1. Supply & Erection: 45 contracts and an 84.9% share
  2. Project Implementation: six contracts and an 11.3% share
  3. Consulting & Similar Services: two contracts and a 3.8% share.

Wind is top technology for Europe T&D equipment contracts in Q4 2019

Looking at T&D equipment contracts by the type of technology in the Europe region, wind accounted for 15 contracts with a 65.2% share, followed by thermal with four contracts and a 17.4% share and solar with two contracts and an 8.7% share.
