Power Plant stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the Europe region in August 2020 with 27 tenders and a 22.9% share, followed by T&D Project with 27 tenders and a 22.9% share and T&D Equipment with 23 tenders and a 19.5% share during the month.
The proportion of tenders by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:
- Project Implementation: 25 tenders and a 92.6% share
- Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: one tender and a 3.7% share
- Consulting & Similar Services: one tender and a 3.7% share.
Hydro is top technology for Europe T&D project tenders in August 2020
Looking at T&D project tenders by the type of technology in the Europe region, hydro accounted for one tender with a 50% share, followed by solar with one tender and a 50% share.
