T&D Project stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the Europe region in Q4 2019 with 82 tenders and a 30.4% share, followed by T&D Equipment with 63 tenders and a 23.3% share and Generation Equipment with 56 tenders and a 20.7% share during the quarter.
The proportion of tenders by category tracked by GlobalData in the quarter was as follows:
- Project Implementation: 61 tenders and a 74.4% share
- Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: 16 tenders and a 19.5% share
- Consulting & Similar Services: five tenders and a 6.1% share.
Solar is top technology for Europe T&D project tenders in Q4 2019
Looking at T&D project tenders by the type of technology in the Europe region, solar accounted for two tenders with a 40% share, followed by wind with two tenders and a 40% share and thermal with one tender and a 20% share.
