The project is being developed by Canadian Solar and Photon Energy Australia. Photon Energy Australia and Polpo Investments are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 65% and 35% respectively.
Maryvale Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is planned over 150 hectares.
The project is expected to generate 345,900MWh electricity and supply enough clean energy to power 60,000 households. The project is expected to offset 265,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is expected to be around $128.38m.
The solar power project consists of 450,000 modules.
