Description

The project is being developed by Taweelah RO Desalination. Acwa Power, Mubadala Investment and Abu Dhabi National Energy are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 40%, 40% and 20% respectively.

Development status

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project will be sold to Emirates Water and Electricity under a power purchase agreement for a period of 30 years. The offtake capacity is expected to be 50MW.

Abengoa Solar and SEPCOIII Electric Power Construction are expected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.

Abengoa, Power Construction Corporation of China and The First National Operation & Maintenance are expected to be contracted for rendering of operations & maintenance services for the project.
