Raizen is a Brazilian joint venture between Royal Dutch Shell Plc and Cosan SA. Raizen has the capacity to produce over 2.2 billion liters of ethanol per year. It also has 23 mills with 900 MW of installed capacity to produce electric power from sugarcane bagasse.
