The project is being developed by Kineticor Resource and is currently owned by Cascade Power Project with a stake of 100%.

It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant. The fuel will be procured from Peyto Exploration and Development Corp, Cutbank Dawson Gas Resources Ltd.
