Description
The project is being developed by Kineticor Resource and is currently owned by Cascade Power Project with a stake of 100%.
It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant. The fuel will be procured from Peyto Exploration and Development Corp, Cutbank Dawson Gas Resources Ltd.
The project cost is expected to be around $1,500m.
Development status
The project construction is expected to commence from 2020. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by September 2023.

Black & Veatch, Overland Contracting and PCL Construction Group are expected to render engineering procurement construction services for the gas fired power project.
